Before noon a mixture of sun and clouds, from noon on overcast throughout and snow shower. At until early morning, dry air ensures largely undisturbed, very nice weather. At before noon, scattered clouds with some clearing is likely to occur. At midday, it will be mostly cloudy or overcast. Around in the afternoon and from the first half of the night until midnight, cloudy, it can snow at times and rather lightly. At during late evening, it snows frequently and temporarily also heavily. Daily sum of fresh snow in the order of 5 - 10 cm, snow-rain limit 200 - 500 m. Roughly 1 - 2 h sunshine duration. Wind 15 - 25 km/h from main wind sector southwest, wind gusts up to 55 km/h. Temperatures -11 up to -7 °C.

Four ski touring routes in different degrees of difficulty

Olympic route: from the Patscherkofel cable car valley station via the piste to the mountain station (956 metres altitude)
Vitalweg: From the middle station of the Patscherkofel cable car via the Patscher Alm, Hochmahdalm to the top station (250 metres in altitude)
Forest trail: From the middle station of the Patscherkofel cable car, first via piste 3a and then into the forest to the top station (250 m altitude difference).
Summit route: From the top station of the Patscherkofel cable car to the summit (280 metres in altitude)

Every Thursday the pistes remain open until 10.00 pm for ski tourers. On all other days a secured descent is possible until 5.00 pm. After this time the pistes are closed, there is no danger protection.

Changing facilities are available at the mountain station of the Patscherkofel cable car and in the summit parlour.
